What Grey’s Anatomy taught me…

Callie Torres taught me how to love and be loved. She taught me to show everyone who I really am and it’s up to them to love or hate me. And if I’m lucky enough, I’ll find someone who’s gonna be by my side and spend forever with me.
Arizona Robbins taught me to be proud of who I am. Who I decide to love doesn’t make me less of a person. She’s gay and she’s an awesome surgeon, a loving mother and wife.
Cristina Yang taught me that nobody’s perfect and it’s alright to fight for what you think is best for you. Nobody knows what’s best for you except yourself.
Meredith Grey taught me that although she’s dark and twisty, she doesn’t see things in black and white. That’s what I love about her. We’re all messed up but it doesn’t mean we have to stay messed up.
Alex Karev taught me that no matter how strong we appear to be, we all have our own kryptonite.
Derek Shepherd taught me that having perfect hair won’t get you out of everything. LOL
Lexie Grey taught me that even if we ace all our exams, we’re all blinded by the crazy thing called love.
Owen Hunt taught me that recovery is possible. We can all be healed.
Mark Sloan showed me how to be the best bestfriend.

so true!
